Reporting someone

The fastest way is in the app: open the chat menu and choose Report. Child safety concerns can also be emailed with the subject "Child safety" (see child safety standards).

Complaints

To complain about how we handled a report or about our safety rules, email us with the subject "Safety complaint". In Australia you can also contact the eSafety Commissioner; see Safety and support.

Your data

Glimmer has no accounts. To access, correct or delete the data linked to your device, email us from the app: Settings → Request data deletion registers the request with our service and opens a message with its request number. The number shows us the request came from your device, so we act only on requests that carry one. You can change the message to ask for access or correction instead.

If the app cannot get a number (no connection), try again once you are online. If you deleted the app, its credentials are gone and nobody can prove the device's data is theirs, so we cannot hand it over or act on it; that data is erased automatically 400 days after the app was last used. Email us anyway if you have a question.

We answer data requests within 15 days. See the privacy policy for what we keep and for how long.
